Jackson County Public Schools Extends Spring Break One Day to Allow Students to Stay Home and View Solar Eclipse

Due to the upcoming Solar Eclipse, we have re-evaluated our status of having an Instructional Day on Monday, April 8, 2024. Other school districts in our region have recently updated their status concerning school on April 8th, as well. Therefore, we will be extending Spring Break an additional day to include Monday, April 8th; therefore, there will be no school on Monday, April 8, 2024.

We look forward to welcoming our students and staff back on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
