Clayborne "Clay" Brewer Obituary

Clayborne “Clay” Brewer of McKee passed away Sunday March 31, 2024 at his residence being 75 years of age. Clay was born in Harlan, Kentucky. He is the son of the late Charlie and Gertrude Huston Brewer.

Clay is survived by his wife Shirley and the following children James Lambert Jr. of Annville, Ramona Huston and Margaret Lambert Ball of Ohio. 11 Grandchildren and 9 Great grandchildren. The following siblings Elmer Brewer of Wilmore, KY, Marie Collins of McKee, Minne Lee Hembree of Cleveland Tennessee and Bob Brewer of Bowling Green, KY. Clay is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Clay was blessed with a dear friend, that he loved like son Kevin (Carla) Mefford and his children.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his grandson Nathan Carl Lambert. As well as two sisters Barbara Brewer, Loretta Leonard and one brother David Brewer.

Funeral Services for Clay were held at the Bond Holiness Church with Brother Kevin Lloyd, Brother Rodger Boyd and Brother Rick Combs on Thursday April 4, 2024 at 1PM. Burial will follow at the Seven Pines Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
