Judith "Judy" Linda McQueen Anderson Obituary

Judith “Judy” Linda McQueen Anderson was born on August 13, 1955, in Berea, Kentucky and departed this life on April 3, 2024, at her home in Tyner, KY being 68 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Thelma (Cunagin) McQueen.

She is survived by her husband Gerald Anderson, daughter Janee’ (Anderson), son-in-law Justin Howard, son Tim (Melissa) Anderson, and grandchildren, Jayde Audrey Howard, Jacob (Marisa) Anderson, Alexa (Blake) Hoover, Gabriella Anderson and great granddaughter, Ryleigh Anderson. Other survivors include her brothers, Fredrick (Peggy) McQueen, Joshua McQueen, Kenneth Cunigan and Ronnie Cunigan, Nephew, Tyler McQueen, Niece, Amber Brown (Dave), great nephews Jackson and John. Other survivors include a host of family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Judy was proceeded in death by her infant brother John Andrew McQueen.

Judy was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed growing flowers, cooking, UK basketball and spending time with family. She was a retired Spanish teacher at Jackson County High School.

Graveside services for Judy Anderson were held at 2 PM on Saturday April 6, 2024, at the Reynolds Cemetery in Tyner, Kentucky with Brother James Howard officiating. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
