Jackson County 12U Fastpitch All-Stars Capture 4th District Championship in 4 Years, Advance to State Tournament

McKee, KY -- The Jackson County girls 12U Little League All-Stars stormed their way to a District 4 Championship in dominating fashion, giving local fans plenty to cheer about and earning a ticket to the Kentucky Little League state tournament in Ashland, Kentucky July 5-10.
Over the course of the tournament, the All-Stars put on an offensive clinic, racking up an incredible 67 runs while giving up just one -- a testament to both their powerhouse hitting and lockdown defense.
These girls have worked hard all season, and it showed on the field. Every player contributed. From the bats to their gloves, this team was dialed in.
Jackson County cruised through the early rounds with high-scoring victories, never letting up the pressure.
In the championship game, Jackson County once again dominated, capping off the tournament with a commanding win over Harlan that secured their spot as District 4 champions.
The team completed the 4-peat, by capturing their 4th district championship in four years.
The team now sets its sights on Ashland, where they will represent District 4 in the Kentucky State Little League Tournament. The competition is expected to be fierce, but with their current momentum, Jackson County is poised to make a deep run.
This same group of girls were state champions in 2022 and 2023, and state runners-up last year. The group is set to make one last run at a state title this year. In the 12U division, the state champion goes on to represent Kentucky in the regionals of the Little League World Series, with games being broadcast on ESPN, which has been a culminating goal for the group since beginning Little League.
The Jackson County community is rallying behind the team, many of which are making the long trips to cheer the girls on.
