Jerry Wayne Ward Obituary

Jerry Wayne Ward was born on September 1, 1956 in Scottsburg, Indiana and departed this life peacefully on Friday December 15, 2023 at his home in Annville, Kentucky at the age of 67. He was the son of the late Dennis and Doris (Baldwin) Ward.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Hacker) Ward. They were wed on July 27, 1974 and blessed with over 49 years of marriage.

He is also survived by his four children, Michelle (Paul) Campbell of Corbin, Kentucky, Joshua (Jamie) Ward of Lexington, Kentucky, Jared (Megan) Ward of Sand Gap, Kentucky and Mariah Ward of Annville, Kentucky.

Jerry was one of four sons survived by three younger brothers; Terry (Phyllis) Ward of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, Charley (Carolyn) Ward of Tyner, Kentucky and Roger (Patricia) Ward of Tyner, Kentucky. He is also survived by a special aunt, Hazel Gill of Annville, Kentucky. He was blessed with on grandson Elijah Campbell and a grandchild to be.

Jerry was one of the hardest working and selfless men to ever live. He spent almost 40 years working in management at Flav-O-Rich Dairy in London, Kentucky. He was determined more than anything to provide for his family and give them a life above and beyond all they could imagine. Jerry’s family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. His family was his pride and joy and always put them before himself.

He was a man of great faith and trust in the Lord. His relationship with God always gave him amazing strength and peace. He was a member of the Moore’s Creek Holiness Church where he served as a board member of the church.

Funeral Service for Jerry Wayne Ward will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday December 19, 2023 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. James Hacker and Bro. Carl Hacker officiating with burial in the Annville Medlock Cemetery.
