Posted

Ryan Goforth, 28, of London, KY, appeared before Judge Oscar Gayle House in Circuit Court for arraignment in Case #26-CR-00013. A Grand Jury returned an indictment against Goforth on February 03, 2026. Goforth has been charged with assault, 2nd degree. Goforth waived the need for a formal arraignment and entered a plea of “not guilty” to the charge.

Goforth was arrested by Deputy Baldwin (JCSO, Badge #102) on November 19, 2025 while executing Complaint Warrant #E05510005094970. Deputy Baldwin had obtained the complaint warrant on November 16, 2025.

The complaint warrant alleges that Goforth unlawfully and intentionally caused serious physical injury to another person when he took his fists and struck the victim, Kenneth Harrison, approximately twelve to fifteen times when Harrison was attempting to get into his vehicle to leave a commercial business on Main Street in McKee, KY.

The alleged assault was described in the complaint warrant as causing severe injuries to Harrison’s head and face and resulting in a significant loss of blood. According to the complaint, Harrison sought medical treatment at St. Joseph in Berea, KY which required stitches. Harrison was treated for loss of a tooth and required facial reconstruction surgery.

Upon the Grand Jury Indictment, Goforth was arrested by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office as they executed Indictment Warrant #E05510005135611. Goforth remains in custody at the Clay County Detention Center under a $10,000 full security bond while awaiting his next court appearance. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for April 07, 2026.

As in all cases at this stage of adjudication, the charges are allegations and the defendant is presumed innocent until provided due process and determined to be guilty by the court.
