Cross Drain Replacement Scheduled for KY 578 in Jackson County on Tuesday, June 23

MANCHESTER, Ky. (June 22, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a section of KY 578 in Jackson County will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, June 23, for cross drain replacement operations.

The closure will affect KY 578 between its intersection with KY 30 at mile point 4.728 and its intersection with KY 3630 at mile point 5.697.

Work is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m. The roadway will only be closed during daytime working hours.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
