Daytime Closure Scheduled for KY 89 in Jackson County on Wednesday, Sept. 30
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a section of KY 89 in Jackson County will be closed to through traffic on Wednesday, Sept. 30, to allow crews to replace a cross drain.
The closure will extend between the intersection with U.S. 421 at mile point 15.638 and the intersection with Hooten Road at mile point 13.354.
The roadway is scheduled to be closed from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. The closure will be in effect during daytime hours only.
Motorists should plan ahead, use alternate routes and allow additional travel time while the closure is in place.
