KY Fish & Wildlife Warden D. Turner reported in Citation #FG75910 that on July 05, 2026 he observed Bruce Farra, 39, of London, KY sitting in the middle of the roadway with a female, Toni Combs, 34, of Tyner, KY standing beside a vehicle on Oak Grove Church Road near Gray Hawk, KY.
When the two saw the officers they got into their vehicle and began driving away. Upon making contact with the couple the male driver told the officer that he owned the vehicle but did not have registration or proof of insurance. Farra also advised that he did not have a valid operator’s license. Officer Turner was given consent to search the vehicle.
Warden Croley solicited the help of KSP Post 7 and was informed that both individuals had active warrants for their arrests. During the search of the vehicle Warden Croley located a clear plastic bag containing a clear crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine.
Inside Combs purse, Warden Croley also located three unlabeled containers with 15 peach colored tablets suspected to be suboxone, 38 yellow capsules with the letters 215, and 1 white tablet suspected to be Neurontin. None of the pills were in their proper containers. Combs did not possess the prescriptions for these pills at the time of her arrest. Warden Turner located a glass pipe containing burnt residue and a set of digital scales inside the vehicle.
Both Farra and Combs were arrested and transported to the Jackson County Detention Center. Farra was charged with operating on a suspended license, failure to wear seat belts, no registration receipt, no registration plates, failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, 1st offense, possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia.
Combs was charged with drug paraphernalia, possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine), prescription controlled substance not in proper container, 1st offense, and possession controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense (drug unspecified).
Both appeared before Judge Allen B. Roberts in District Court on Monday, July 06, 2026 for arraignment. Farra’s case was identified as Case #26-F-00058. Combs case was identified as Case #26-F-00059. Farra and Combs both entered pleas of “not guilty” to all charges. Preliminary hearings were scheduled for July 20, 2026.
As in all cases at this stage of adjudication, the charges are allegations and the defendents are presumed innocent until provided due process and determined to be guilty by the court.
