Avery Stewart and Allison McKinney, both Jackson County High School students, and The Anglin Brothers Bluegrass Band with Logan Cain will all be appearing on the OBT stage at Renfro Valley on Saturday, November 14th, at Noon. Alan Burton & The Jukebox Memories Band from Ohio will be the house band, along with performances by Phillip Doan & The “Just In Time” Bluegrass Band, popular artists Doug Morgan and Avery Bradshaw, Josh Richardson, Gwen Flannery; Kathee Staton will also be performing. Special Guest will be Amber Thacker (stage name Camille Rae), a graduate of Rockcastle County High School and now a recording artist in Nashville.
Tickets to the event are $20 (before tax) if pre-purchased, or $25 (before tax) at the door. Everyone is highly encouraged to pre-purchase tickets through the Renfro Valley website so that seating will be available for all ticket holders.
The FINAL Barn dance Alumni Show is under the direction of Kathee Brown Staton who has been involved with Renfro music for almost 70 years. She was a long-time performer on the Barn dance, later becoming the Alumni Coordinator.
Please make plans now to attend the Show and support these entertainers who are sharing their talent.
