JCHS Hosts Princess Brunch

Posted

Students and families from across the community gathered on May 16, 2026, for a magical morning as the Jackson County High School FBLA Club hosted a Princess Brunch to celebrate the end of the school year and welcome the beginning of summer break. The event was designed to give children a fun and memorable experience before school let out for the summer.

Guests enjoyed a variety of activities throughout the morning, including games, dancing, music, storytelling, and a brunch-style meal. Many children arrived dressed as their favorite princesses and characters, helping create a festive and exciting atmosphere for families in attendance. Members of the FBLA Club and Office Administration class worked together to organize the brunch, help decorate, lead activities, and interact with guests throughout the event. The event would not have been a success without Mrs. Anderson allowing us to use her leftover prom decorations.

The brunch created an environment where children could laugh, dance, and spend time with friends and family while celebrating the close of another successful school year. Families who attended shared positive feedback about the experience and the impact it had on their children.

“It was super cute and a fun way to let young girls dress up as their favorite characters and connect with bigger ‘princesses,’” said Addison Brumley.

“It was so fun and magical! We all had the best time and we’re excited to go back next year! My baby talked about it for days! All the Princesses were beautiful and so sweet! She loved the storytelling, the dancing and the games! It definitely was a great experience for mommies and daughters!” said Pansy Ward.

The Princess Brunch highlighted the club’s dedication to community involvement and giving back through events that encourage fun, connection, and school spirit. With a strong turnout and plenty of smiles, the event served as a successful and memorable way to end the school year on a positive note.
