Last Warhead Destroyed at Blue Grass Army Depot

The last warhead has been destroyed at the Blue Grass Army Depot.

This was one of more than 68,000 drained GB and VX nerve agent rocket warheads that were disposed of at the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant.

This follows the destruction of the last of the chemical weapons stockpile in 2023.

The future of the Blue Grass Army Depot is yet undecided. Many employees fear layoffs or job loss.
