Lonnie Boggs was born October 13, 1952, in Harlan, KY and departed this life Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the Kenwood Nursing & Rehab in Richmond, at the age of 73. He was the son of the late Marcus & Mae (Lafevers) Boggs.
Lonnie is survived by his wife, Barbara (Lawson) McQueen Boggs and by two sons, Josh (Melissa) Boggs and Dustin (Miranda) Boggs. He is also survived by three step sons, Mike (Julie) McQueen, Rick (Beverly) McQueen and Brian (Johnna) McQueen and also two sisters, Jan Collett and Connie Cornett. He was blessed with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Lonnie was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Mike McQueen officiating. Burial to follow in the Vaughn & Parrett Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
