McKee Medical Clinic has “adopted” 2 local artists, Anthony Greg Isaacs and Jamie Timberman. Anthony ‘Greg’ Isaacs is an incredible artist, whether he is painting portraits or landscapes, he has an eye for detail that is unmatched.
Greg and his wife, Tammy, moved to Jackson County some years ago and though it was a new chapter for them, Greg has always felt - he was just returning home.
Jamie Timberman is a fellow Jackson Countian that is surprisingly quiet and shy considering her artistic style is so loud and bold. With encouragement from her brother, Joseph, Jamie has always pushed herself to try something different, resulting in Jamie’s artwork being pieces that are truly unique.
At your local doctor’s office you will find one of their pieces in each patient room, so the next time you need to stop in at McKee Medical Clinic for a check-up be sure to check out the art work done by your local artists, Anthony “Greg” Isaacs and Jamie Timberman.
With no art gallery in the county, the Jackson County Creatives have begun asking local businesses if they would like to “adopt” a local artist. The businesses are displaying at least one art piece from one of our county’s artists, not trying to sell said art piece and not responsible if something happens to the artwork, only displaying.
This allows Jackson County artists to have a place with foot traffic to showcase their work and shows the community that this business cares about our local talent.
If you are a local artist or a local business that would like to participate, visit our website - jacksoncountycreatives.org
