Michael Wayne Richmond was born October 19, 1960, in Oneida, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday August 25, 2026, at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. He is the son of the late Larry and (Naomi McWhorter) Richmond.
He is survived by his siblings Rick (Brenda) Richmond of Annville, Lonnie (Debra) Richmond of Manchester and Darlene (David) Cornett of McKee. His nieces and nephews Samatha Burlew, Krissy Richmond Phillips, Lindsey (Jordan) Shannon, McKindsey (Phillp) Bowles, Stacy Roark, Triston Harris, Shane Pennington, MaKayla (Courtney) Pennington, Austin Saylor, Bradley (Tiffany) Foster, Joshua (Candace) Foster, Justin (Leslie) Foster and Crystal Hibbard.
Great nieces and nephews Jonah Shannon, Abram Shannon, Xaiver Bowles, Colson Harris, Jaxon Foster, Jayla Foster, Makalyn Hubbard, Brayden Bird, Rylee Foster, Blakely Foster, Maggie Foster, Daniel Asher, Hannah Asher, Peyton Saylor, Ethan Saylor, Tammy Sexton, Donnie Sexton, Kerian Caudill and Brayden Caudill. He is also survived by a cousin John York who was like a brother and his aunt Marie Sexton.
In addition to his parents Mike was preceded in death by his brother Randy Richmond and his companion Connie Burlew.
Funeral Services for Mike will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2026, with Bro. Ryan Smith presiding. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery.
