Notes to Consider…

Current Events: Nation (“Affordability”)

Posted

Inflation is not a difficult economic principle to understand. As an example, if we imagined a self-contained world inside a classroom; and everyone in the room possessed a single dollar bill; how many green beans could you purchase with your single dollar bill? The answer, of course, would be: “A lot.” Now let us imagine I drop a trash bag full of recklessly printed dollar bills onto everyone’s desk. Then, how many green beans could you purchase with a single dollar bill? “Not a lot.” would be the correct answer, as the value of each dollar would have become undermined by the flood of fiat currency into the classroom (economy).

That’s half the equation of our current inflationary situation (that economic history goes back many presidencies; to at least Richard Nixon’s severing of our currency’s last ties to gold) that was put into overdrive during the Wuhan Hysteria or failed “Great Reset” gambit. The other culprit was the grandstanding Biden attack upon cheap, reliable fossil fuels in the Quixotic name of “saving” the planet. (Enjoying all this recent “global warming”?)

2026 is a mid-term congressional election year. The Democrat Party’s strategy is one of (obvious “gaslighting”) a promise to usher in (you guessed it) “Affordability!” The party responsible for the runaway inflation of the last four years is really the party who can lower the cost of living (via more inflationary policies). Got it?

Recently though, headlines have detracted from the Democrat message. “Drill Baby Drill!”, capturing the world’s largest oil reserves, and rolling back insane “green” mandates are resulting in lower energy prices which (more than any other single factor) will result in cheaper prices on goods which require shipping (virtually everything). As well, the cover is being pulled back on the racket which is mass immigration. It has been demonstrated our southern border was easily closeable, and even more damaging to the Communists is the exposure of the rampant fraud (Democrat voter importation) associated with bringing in low-trust third world “communities.”

Now. What’s the recipe for electoral success in 2026, Mr. President? No more Mr. Nice Guy.
