Ruth Ann Parker was born on December 21, 1951, in Jackson County, and departed this life Saturday, June 27, 2026, at her residence in McKee, at the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late William & Bonnie (Boggs) Peters.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband, Marvin Parker and by two sons, Shannon Dale Parker and his wife Melissa of McKee and Keith Marvin Parker and his wife Kala of Annville. She was blessed with her grandchildren, Keegan (Gabriella) Parker, Latisha (Aaron) Duncan, Kyleigh Baker, Eva Kate Parker and Kashton James Rivers Parker and by four great-grandchildren, Grayson Parker, Wyatt Parker, Lawson Duncan and Jake Duncan. She is also survived by the following siblings, Bobby Peters, Janie Frye of Indiana, Jill Johnson of Annville and Ruby Baker of Laurel Co.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was also preceded in death by her siblings, Cecil Peters, Jack Peters, Mike Peters, Peggy Tyree, Arnold Gene Peters, Dolly Cox and Billy Joe Peters.
Ruth was a member of the Letter Box Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Shane Gabbard officiating. Burial to follow in the Harris Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
