Linda Gail Bowden was born January 1, 1959, in Jackson County and departed this life Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the St. Joseph Hospital in London, at the age of 67. She was the daughter of Harvey & Gladys (Parrett) Adkins.
Linda is survived by three daughters, Kelly Bowden (Doug House) of Corbin, Melanie Bowden of McKee and Katie Bowden of Tyner and by the following siblings, Wayne Adkins and wife Lu of Tyner, Lonnie Adkins and wife Sandra of Barbourville, Teresa Toler and husband Roy of Berea and Karen Tincher and her companion Tim of McKee. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Logan Bowden, Luke Gabbard, Savannah Gabbard, Willow Mize, Chance White, Kendra Gabbard and twin Lyndsey Gabbard and Grace White; by two great-grand-daughters, Avery Grace Bowden and Lily Ann Tillery and by a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Adkins.
Pallbearers: Logan Bowden, Roger Dunn, Cameron Tillery, Morgan Tillery, Chris Clark, and Kendall Barger.
Graveside services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at the Parrett Cemetery in Gray Hawk with Bro. Brian Gabbard officiating. Lakes Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements. www.lakesfuneralhomemckee.com
