Vickie Ann Peters 70 was born September 2, 1955, in Laurel County, Kentucky and departed this life Saturday, January 3, 2026, at her residence. She is the daughter of the late Henry Lee and Mae Geraldine (Gerry) Cornett.
She is survived by her loving husband Bobby D. and her children, Bobby A Peters, Julie (George) Ward and Matthew (Kayla) Peters all of Annville. A brother David (Pam) Cornett of Corbin and his children Ashley Collett and Amanda Maxie. Vickie was blessed with the following grandchildren, Eric Peters, Madison Peters, Kylee Peters, William Ward, Cooper Peters and Skyler Ward.
Vickie leaves behind a lifelong friend Janice Byrd and other she loved as her own throughout her years.
Vickie was a member of the Pine Grove Church of Christ.
Funeral Services for Vickie will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Mark Nations and Brent Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Cornett Cemetery. Pallbearer include Eric Peters, Rodney Cornett, Timmy Cornett, Seth Cornett, Matthew Begley, Brent Britton and Wendell Peters. Honorary Pallbearers, George Ward, William Ward, Cooper Peters, and Skyler Ward.
A visitation will begin at 6 P.M. on Thursday, January 8 at the Lakes Funeral Home Chapel in McKee.
