In November, eighth-grade students at Jackson County Middle School will be writing a book about Jackson County's rich traditions, people, places, and history. The Jackson County Public Library will publish several copies of the book, so that people can check it out now and in the future.
As part of their research, they will be conducting interviews at the JCMS library on November 17 and 18. The hope is that as many community members as possible can come to the school to be interviewed and help students learn about and celebrate their community heritage! If you might be interested, please email Judy Sizemore at jsizemore48@outlook.com and she will give you more details.
