Jackson County Area Technology Center Automobile Technician Training Program Receives ASE Certification

It's a great day to be a General! Congratulations to Mr. Adkins for completing the requirements for ASE Certification.

The ASE Education Foundation informed Mr. Adkins on December 18, 2025 writing, “We have received the on-site evaluation results for your automobile technician-training program at the Jackson County Area Technology Center. The results indicate that the criteria have been met for renewal of program accreditation in Maintenance & Light Repair.

We commend you and your staff for maintaining your program’s standards and continuing to meet the industry’s requirements. The explosion in automotive technology makes your high-quality automotive training program more valuable than ever.”

JC ATC Principal Brian Harris reported, “This will allow our automotive students at JCHS Area Technology Center to continue to gain their ASE certification. Mr. Adkins put in a lot of work inside and outside of school to make this happen. We greatly appreciate each student or staff member that contributed in any way to the process!”
