JC Generals Track & Field Posts Record-Setting Night

The Jackson County Generals Track & Field team delivered a breakthrough performance, highlighted by a wave of personal records and multiple marks entering the program record books.

In the 100 meters, Scarlett Peel (15.11), Sadie Turner (16.36), Kera Harris (17.32), Gavin Nolasco (12.09), Jake Jones (12.12), and Trenton Smith (13.78) all recorded personal bests. Nolasco and Jones now rank #1 and #2 all-time in school history in the event.
Nolasco with a 200m PR (24.71), joined by PRs for Jayce Dozier (28.07) and Trenton Smith (30.55).

Middle-distance success was led by Jadyn Agee (2:23.70) and Jaxon Turner (2:41.11) in the 800 meters, while Miley Stepp (3:39.91) and Miranda Powell (4:14.47) also notched personal bests.

In the 1600 meters, Jaden (5:08.17), Blake Isaacs (6:04.88), Jaxson Dozier (5:53.95), Lillie Davidson (6:49.26), and Miranda Powell (8:36.31) each set personal records.
Dozier’s performance also established a new 7th grade school record, marking a major milestone for the program.

Distance runners continued the momentum in the 3200 meters with PRs from Lillie Davidson (14:43.22), Brody Isaacs (11:55.22), and Avery Stewart (12:49.92).

In the 400 meters, Jake Jones (55.86) set a new school record, while Hunter Peters (59.82), Braxton Hoskins (1:12.10), and MacKenzie Jackson (1:36.88) all achieved personal bests.

Field events saw strong improvements as well. In discus, Emmalynn Harris (54-8.5), Lexi Ohmit (49-5), Ben Rader (85-4.5), and Chase Shearer (44-3) all recorded PRs.

In Shot Put, Raylynn Davidson (21-2), Hannah Jackson (18-11), Alicia Ohmit (16-10), Ben Rader (27-7), and Chase Shearer (25-8) added to the team’s total.

Overall, the Generals showcased depth, development, and a commitment to improvement, some even etched their place in program history.
