JCHS’ Academic Team swept three quick recall matches to make a current standing of 12 wins to two losses for the season—we beat Hazard High, Powell County, and Perry Central. We are so proud of this team!
In our upcoming tournament for the Red River Academic League, our league commissioner selects exceptional players to play in an All-Star game. This year’s All League honors were awarded to Addan Witt and Miley Bowles. Also, we were honored to have Anna Roark recognized for her incredible contributions to the league throughout her time with the academic team—you won’t find a better buzzer operator or spotter in the game than Anna!
Our whole team works together to achieve these successes and they each show how Jackson County’s students are the best of the best in any contest of academic excellence!
