Congrats to the Jackson County Middle School 6th Grade Academic team for winning the 6th Grade Showcase. They participated in the Governor’s Cup style competition on Saturday, 12/6 against 5 other schools.
They won the overall competition with 78.5 points, almost doubling the second-place team, which scored 40.5 points. Harper Bowling scored a first place finish in Math, and Anderson Sandlin won first place in Science. Several other students placed in the top five with Jackson County Middle School scoring 13 of a possible 15 top five finishes in written assessment.
