Husband and Wife Each Lose One Arm During EF-4 Tornado that Devastated London, KY

After the tornado in London, neighbors found Paul and Gail Cline at home, holding each other despite losing limbs. Married for 29 years, they embody love. The couple reportedly were holding each other tight when the incident occurred that resulted in each of them losing an arm.

Around 11:50 PM Friday night, a tornado destroyed their Meadow Lane home. A neighbor's quick action saved Gail's life by applying a tourniquet to her arm.

“Their love is exceptional,” said niece Taylor Baker, recalling how Paul recited his wedding vows in the hospital after the disaster. Gail, now on life support, responded to Paul's kiss on the forehead.

Paul suffers from dementia but is recovering; whereas, Gail sustained severe injuries including broken ribs, liver and lung damage, and head staples.
